A Time To Be Born:

Sister Marie was born on June 24, 1959 to the late Brother Curnel and Mother Selma Walker.  She received Christ at an early age and was baptized under the leadership of Reverend Tellis Nicolas at the Church of God in Christ.

A Time To Say Goodbye:

On Saturday, July 23, 2022 God sent His angels to carry her home to rest from her labor.  Where there would be no more pain and suffering.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Curnel and Selma Walker, and 2 brothers, Albert Bowie and Curnell Walker III.

A Time To Mourn:

She leaves to cherish her memories; 8 brothers, Glen Walker of Shreveport, LA, Billy Pleasant, Ricky (Rochelle) Walker, Kevin (Channee) Walker, Dennis Walker, all of Monroe, LA, Henry (Cherlyn) Walker of Houston, TX; Lewis Walker, Bennie Williams both of Winnsboro, LA; 5 sisters, Betty (Joe) Doyle, Carolyn Walker both of Winnsboro, LA, Martha Sue, Dorothy both of Oakland, CA, Bernice (Michael) Washington of Longview, TX; a very special friend Arnold Lee of Winnsboro, LA, and a host of friends, nieces, nephews and a thank you to Plantation Oak Nursing Home in Wisner, LA.
